Instructions for Sending in Items for Sharpening

When we are not out doing sharpening at dog shows, we are back at our home shop taking mail-in sharpening.

Our prices are $25 for scissors/thinners and $10 for A-5 style clipper blades plus a single $10 return shipping/handling charge (no matter how much you send). It's best to enclose a check to cover your sharpening (and also include a phone number and return shipping).  But, we can also take a credit card over the phone if you prefer.

You can send your sharpening to:

Doc Getter's Sharpening
8 Coshacion Drive
Timberon, NM 88350

Again, remember to include your phone number and return address.  Once you've shipped it, please send us a text (575 921-9377) or email us at docgetter@yahoo.com with the tracking number so we can watch for it.

Packing

Remember to pack your items securely with lots of padding so nothing rattles.  If you shake your package and you can hear or feel things moving around, you need to add more padding.  We don't want your valuable shears or blades getting damaged in transit.  The Post Office has boxes and padding that work very well that you can get right at the post office.
